Meet Dr. Amy Walker, A Dentist Committed To Your Whole-Body Health

It’s difficult for Dr. Amy Walker to express how grateful she is for the opportunity to move back to her hometown and provide care for her community. She graduated from Chaparral High School in 2001, from Kansas State University with a bachelor’s degree in microbiology in 2005, and from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry in 2009.

She and her husband Joel reside in Anthony with their three children. They enjoy being back in Kansas and value their community and the people in it. Joel farms and ranches for a living and is passionate about learning more each year about the ever-changing agricultural field. They enjoy living in this smaller community where Jack, Lexi, and Tommy attend school and are involved in various activities. While not at the office or on the farm, the family enjoys sports, swimming, wake-surfing, camping, running, watching movies, and playing board and video games.

Dr. Walker enjoys using dentistry to give back to the community and beyond. She and her husband are excited to have served in the mission field in Haiti as well as being a part of their small corner of the world! She is passionate about continuing education and technology. She also believes that the mouth is only a small picture of our whole body health, and she loves sharing that information with her patients as this field steadily changes through science and research.
