I had my first visit today and I was very impressed by the knowledge, kindness and understanding I received from Susan and Dr. Walker. Thank you!
Walker Family dental is an amazing place! Very kind and family oriented. Amazing bedside manner. I would highly recommend any time
Dr Walker fitted me with upper dentures. They look so natural and are a perfect fit. Put a liner in and no longer have to use adhesive to hold them in. Nina at front desk is always so pleasant on the phone. The assistants are knowledgeable and very friendly. So much state of art equipment that never would have thought could be found in a small town. So comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Extra treat is the wonderful music played.
I was hesitant about scheduling a dentist appointment considering I have not been in so long. Today after my visit at Walker Family Dental, I feel awesome. The staff goes above and beyond with their customer service and the environment is clean and professional. They took great care of me and my little one. Thank you guys! See ya again soon.
Loved the staff there and they did a great job.
Just want to say I hardly ever leave ratings on anything online but figured that walker dental staff has done me a good enough job that I should. Professional staff that is courteous and friendly and a dentist that really puts heart into her job!! Thanks for the good work!
Great staff! Very personable and professional! Can’t say enough about how pleased I am with my smile. Amy did such a fantastic job fixing my teeth and was so patient with me doing the final adjustments. I highly recommend them!
Dental implants are prosthetic tooth root replacements for teeth that have been lost or removed. Implants are anchored into your jawbone, which makes restorations like crowns, bridges, and dentures secure. With implants, your replacement teeth can generate more power, so you can eat anything you would like.
There may be some discomfort during the minor surgical procedure of receiving implants. However, you shouldn’t feel anything with local anesthesia. Once your implants are in place, you likely won’t be able to feel them at all! Replacement teeth attached to implants are also less likely to experience uncomfortable damage such as cracks or breaks.
Dental implant failure is very rare. Smokers and those suffering from diseases like cancer, diabetes, and osteoporosis experience a higher rate of failure than other patients. If you grind your teeth, you should get a mouthguard to prevent damage to your implants. It’s important to brush and floss daily to prevent gum infection. The bone supporting teeth can break down in advanced cases of perio-implant disease. This could cause an implant to come loose.
